How far is the campsite from the river and is there no risk of flooding?
From La Cazette there is a 5 minute walk down. The campsite is 50 metres above the river at a safe height.
Is there a shop on the campsite?
No, there is no shop. We will get fresh bread for you from the bakery every day. You can order pizzas at the campsite. In the village of Broquiès (2 minutes) you will find a café, a butcher, a baker and a little supermarket.
Can I park my car at the camping spot?
No, this is not possible. However, the parking lot is not far from the campsite. There are wheelbarrows etc. to transport your luggage.
Is the area around La Cazette suitable for walking and cycling?
Yes, certainly. A map with beautiful walking and cycling routes is ready for you here. Both recreational and sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy here. See our routes
What is the easiest route and what is the distance?
The most obvious route is via Paris. Then via the A75 to Clermont Ferrand. Before the Millau viaduct, get off the motorway, exit 44.1. The distance from Paris is 680 km. See route
Is there anything to do for our children in the area?
Yes of course! Nearby you will find many adventure climbing and clambering parks. The reservoir of Villefranche de Panat is fun for children, or the huge water fun park at Albi. Just look at this map
