Walking
The valley of the Tarn is a splendid walking area, where you will be
surprised by endless views, intimate rivervalleys, mediaeval castles and
picturesque villages. Maps and information about local walks are at the
disposal of our guests.

Swimming
-
The camp site is just a
few minutes walk from the river Tarn, where there are several small
beaches. The little children can play safely in the shallow parts while
the older children can explore in the rapids. You can swim as well in
the deeper parts of the river.
-
A fifteen minute drive
from Broquiès lies a lake (Villefranche-de-Panat), where you can rent
watercycles and small sailing boats. In an other village (Le Truel, 10
min.), there is a swimming pool)

Things worth seeing
Outside the valley of the tarn there is a lot to see as well, for example
the cliffs of the Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de la Jonte and the Gorges de la
Dourbie, the villages of the Knights Templar at the Causse de Larzac, the
big lakes on the Lévezou, the viaduct of Millau and the city of Albi, with
its very special cathedral and its Toulouse-Lautrec museum..
